Old Iwasaki Masion@Ikenohata, Taito-ward 2008-05-18

I have changed the photo-management style from full manual import and categorization to automated one with iPhoto. Although it was tough to use it on my Titanium G4 when the first version of iPhoto was released more than five years ago, Moore’s Law worked successfully in improvement of computation power, and my new Mac mini enabled me to escape from the bothering task before uploading photos to POD.

The picture shows Old Iwasaki Mansion which was built in 1896 as a residence of Iwasaki family who are the founder of Mitsubishi Financial Clique. The designer is Josiah Conder (1852-1920). Today the mansion is publicly opened as a park and museum.

It is so near to Hongo campus of The University of Tokyo, though it was the first time for me to visit the park. The weather was fine, the building and its interior were quite beautiful. They and preserved well thanks to efforts of a number of people. There are a lot of places I have not been to in Tokyo, and I gotta go around to see them.
